Bad Education Mixtape #1: A Drug-Fueled Blast Down The Lost Highway

Here is the first Bad Education mixtape, inspired by the Summer Mix Series at Yewknee. I submitted this to Yewknee, and they're going to add my mix to their set, which is cool. Look for it, and check out the others because some are really great.

This is a summer road mix, but it's not an idyllic cruise. I wanted the mix to be a motorik stomp-fest with little relief until the 1:15 mark of "Turnstile Blues."

Anyway, the title says it all.

Download Mixtape Here.

01. Sonic Youth - Starfield Road
02. Blood on the Wall - Heat From The Day
03. Queens of the Stone Age - Monster In The Parasol
04. Primal Scream - Shoot Speed/Kill Light
05. The Gun Club - She's Like Heroin To Me
06. Grinderman - Honey Bee (Let's Fly To Mars)
07. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Runnin' Down A Dream
08. Burning Brides - Century Song
09. The Pink Mountaintops - New Drug Queens
10. Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song
11. The Cramps - New Kind Of Kick
12. Iggy Pop - The Passenger
13. Can - Moonshake
14. Wire - Champs
15. Jesus & Mary Chain - Cracking Up
16. Neu! - Hero

18. Hot Snakes - 10th Planet
19. Jesus & Mary Chain - Birthday
20. Butthole Surfers - Who Was In My Room Last Night?

P.S. Of course, I'm not seriously suggesting that you take drugs and jam out to the desert. Or maybe I am. Tongue to cheek, kids. Deal with it!
